Yankee foxtrot
Rather that leave this blog mired in 2010 indecision and politics completely, I'll try to lighten things up a little in future.
This weekend I'm heading to Seattle for the Emerald City Comicon. Where I can hopefully ad to my comic artists sketch book, and rub elbows with some editors. Number one on my list of people to meet will be Mark Bagley. He was the first artist I ever really took note of, and is still one of the few who has the work ethic to carry a comic month to month without delays or fill-in artists. I'm also eager to meet David Mack again, especially after reading his phenomenal new run of Kabuki. And just to rationalize to myself that I'm not a total geek I'll be spending an extra day in the city to see the space needle and perhaps EMP. After 26 years I think it's worht really seeing my neighbour to the South.
Tomorrow I'm going to see the Giants in the playoffs against Chilliwack. I'll be taking some of my new Japanese friends from Clubhouse language exchange.
More news to follow.
